Maxwell Gave A Big Statement About Playing In Major League Cricket

Let us tell you that while talking on ESPN, Glenn Maxwell said about Major League Cricket – This is a tournament which I watched from a distance last year and was very excited about the fact that one day I will play this tournament and fortunately this year. It’s time to play. I have been talking to Ricky Ponting and some other players a lot for quite some time now and I am definitely very excited to be involved.

So Maxwell, who was out of form in the IPL, said – My confidence had gone down a lot, and even after some good net sessions, I did not feel right about the game. I am not able to do justice to my game plan. I think if I keep playing and performing like this, I don’t think the results will change much for the team.

Let us tell you that Maxwell has proved to be a continuous flop in the ongoing season of IPL. He has been able to score only 32 runs in 6 matches for the team. So, after RCB’s match against Hyderabad, Maxwell had said that he is taking an indefinite break from the game considering his mental and physical condition.
