Hardik Pandya Fined: Mumbai Indians won by nine runs against Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League 2024 on Thursday.

In the Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024) on Thursday, Mumbai Indians won by nine runs against Punjab Kings (PBKS vs MI). But, BCCI has fined their captain Hardik Pandya. Actually, this penalty has been imposed on Hardik for maintaining a slow over-rate during the match.

Along with the brilliant bowling of Jasprit Bumrah and Gerald Coetzee, Suryakumar Yadav played a brilliant inning of 78 runs against Punjab Kings while Ashutosh Sharma batted brilliantly for Punjab.

BCCI fines Hardik Pandya for slow over-rate

The victory against Punjab Kings proved to be a bit costly for Mumbai Indians. In an official media advisory issued on Friday, the BCCI announced that Pandya has been fined Rs 12 lakh for maintaining a slow over rate during the match.
