“Not Kohli Or Dhoni, Bumrah Is The Superstar Of IPL” – Harbhajan's Surprising Statement Came Out

Bumrah took five wickets in the match against RCB.

Harbhajan Singh heaped praise on Jasprit Bumrah after he took a brilliant five-wicket haul in Mumbai Indians’ seven-wicket win against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Wankhede Stadium on April 11. Bumrah took five wickets for 21 runs in this match and for this excellent performance, he received the Player of the Match award. His five wickets included the wickets of big players like Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis.

During a conversation on Star Sports show Cricket Live, Jasprit Bumrah said, “There is a huge difference in seeing him bowling on the first day and today. He has been a student who has learned cricket very well. And even when he was talking to Sanjay Manjrekar sir, he was clear in his mind where he wanted the ball to be pitched.

And it doesn’t matter what the match situation is, you read the situation and don’t bowl what you really can’t bowl. You bowl what you have practiced in the nets. And, that’s what he wants to do. He wants to learn every day, even if he gets five wickets today, he will go back and tomorrow, he will watch his videos and see where he can improve.”

The former veteran spinner further said, “And he is very calm and composed. When it comes to pressure situations, no one can do it better than what he does. People often talk about Virat Kohli, and MS Dhoni, because it is a batsman game. But, if you talk about superstars in the game, I think he is the superstar of IPL so far.

Now his figures have improved a lot as compared to the first day. If you count, how many batsmen have done this? Four batsmen have this record, but if you look at bowlers, there are only Bumrah or Malinga in the entire format, so that is unbelievable.
